[FORDA] _As stipulated by the United Nation for Environment Program (UNEP), the first phase of the United Nation Environment Assembly (UNEA) was held on February 22-23, 2021 virtually. Leading the Indonesian delegation in this global event, the Vice Minister of Environment and Forestry, Dr. Alue Dohong was accompanied by high officials from FORDA including the DG of FORDA and researcher.
[FORDA] _In order to enhance research, development and innovation on the environment and forestry, the Research, Development and Innovation Agency (FORDA) of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) is exploring the potential for bilateral cooperation with Singapore. Keluarga besar Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (KLHK) turut berdukacita atas wafatnya Ibu Roosminnie Salim binti M. Roza, pada Sabtu, 27 Februari 2021 pukul 12.46 WIB di RS Medistra Jakarta. Ibu Roosminnie merupakan istri dari Prof. Emil Salim, Menteri Lingkungan Hidup tahun 1978 – 1993.
Menanggapi informasi yang beredar di masyarakat mengenai adanya temuan bayi hiu yang menyerupai manusia di Rote Ndao, NTT. Balai Besar Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam (BBKSDA) NTT menindaklanjuti dengan mendatangi tempat kejadian untuk memeriksa keberadaannya, (25/2/2021).
