Manokwari BP2LHK (Manokwari, January 2020) _ Tuesday (12/1/2020) the Center for Environment and Forestry Research and Development (BP2LHK) Manokwari welcomed a GIZ-Germany (Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusamenarbeit) Team. Their visit, which was part of bilateral cooperation between the Indonesian and German government aimed to figure out the real conditions on the ground in relation to the planned activities of GIZ in Eastern Indonesia.
Balitek KSDA (Samboja, January 2020) _As a manifestation of its public service and as a measure to share knowledge, the Research and Development Center for Natural Resources Conservation Technology (Balitek KSDA) held an Android-based Basic GPS Introduction and Training for high school students of Al-Hayat Samboja. It is a continued training of the Use of Compass for Basic Mapping which has been carried out before in the same school.

Kedatangan Wamen Alue Dohong kali ini bertujuan untuk melihat langsung suasana kampus BLI yang asri serta hasil kerjanya dalam mendukung setiap pengambilan keputusan pemerintah.

Both of these unique primates can be found in the Karaenta Forest of Bantimurung National Park. However, they have currently been threatened with extinction due to their fragmented habitat and conflicts with humans. Banjarbaru BP2LHK (Banjarbaru, January 2020) _ Research findings on Gemor (Notaphoebe coriaceae) that have been investigated by the research team of the BP2LHK Banjarbaru for more than 5 years are published in the Anthology Book entitled "Bio-prospection of Medicinal Plants in Indonesian Tropical Forests". As popularly known, Gemor is a native plant species of peat swamp forests which its bark is used as non-timber forest products (NTFP).
BP2LHK Aek Nauli (Aek Nauli, January 2020) _To raise awareness of the environment, Positive Action Community (PAC) Pematangsiantar, a group of young people aged 16 to 18 years who cares environment by conducting positive environmental activities, went for camping at the Camping Ground inside Forest Area for Specific Purposes (KHDTK) Aek Nauli, from Saturday to Sunday, 25-26 January 2020.
BP2LHK Makassar (Makassar, January 2020) _ Starting the new year 2020, on 11 to 13 January 2020, the PLTMH Team of BP2LHK Makassar over again carried out technical assistance of the Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) for local communities around the forest area. The assistance for PLTMH operations was carried out in Biluwonga Hamlet, Mongilo Utara Village, Bulango Ulu Sub-District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province.
