Dukungan tersebut dapat diwujudkan khususnya dalam memanfaatkan Program Perhutanan Sosial (PS) dan juga mendukung proses pemindahan Ibu Kota Negara ke Kalimantan Timur.

Berkunjung ke lubang bekas tambang masyarakat di area Makroman, Samarinda, Wamen LHK, Alue Dohong meminta para pihak saling bantu menyulap lubang tersebut menjadi areal agrowisata. Model pembenahan lubang bekas tambang di lokasi tersebut akan dijadikan model untuk membenahi lubang-lubang bekas tambang lainnya yang banyak terdapat di Pulau Kalimantan.

BLI (Bogor, Januari 2020)_Wakil Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (LHK), Alue Dohong, SE., M.Sc., PhD., berkunjung ke Kantor Badan Penelitian, Pengembangan dan Inovasi (BLI), Bogor, 28/1/2020. Pada kunjungan kerjanya Alue Dohong mendatangi beberapa fasilitas BLI yang terdapat di area Kampus Gunung Batu, diantaranya adalah penangkaran rusa Bosbouw, herbarium, persemaian, teras inovasi, laboratorium INTROF-CC, ruang pamer hasil hutan dan Xylarium Bogoriense.
Balitek KSDA (Samboja, January 2020) _Mobile Laboratory in East Kalimantan is ready to support the momentum of IKN (New National Capital) pre-development. It is proved by the synergy developed by all stakeholders to prepare operational system of the mobile laboratory, which is discussed in a follow-up meeting of the mobile laboratory, Monday (27/1/2020) in the meeting office of Research and Development Center for Natural Resources Conservation Technology (Balitek KSDA).
BP2LHK Banjarbaru (Banjarbaru, January 2020) _Since its launching in October 2019, the Edupark of Deer Sambar and Orchid Conservation managed by the Center for Environment and Forestry Research and Development (BP2LHK) Banjarbaru has increasingly visited by visitors from surrounding schools, the general public, as well as various institutions.
[BP2LHK Aek Nauli] _This year, Efarina TV has re-explored the potential of scientific tourism which is managed by the Center for Environment and Forestry Research and Development (BP2LHK) Aek Nauli. In contrast to 2018 where it was broadcasted on the "News from the Village" program, this year tourism program will be broadcasted on the "Etal Melalak" program.
[P3KLL] _During his visit to the Center for Environmental Laboratory Quality Research and Development (P3KLL), Tuesday (28/1/2020), the Vice Minister for Environment and Forestry (LHK), Drs. Alue Dohong, MSc, PhD. said P3KLL plays a very strategic role in environmental management since it becomes a National Referral Laboratory.
[P3H] _The existence of environmental and forestry research institutions is highly appreciated by the Minister for Research and Technology/ Chairman of National Agency for Research and Innovation (BRIN), Prof. Bambang P.S. Brodjonegoro. According to him, a role of research institutions is very important to provide scientific inputs or science-based recommendations for the Government of Indonesia in order to make forest management-related policies.
