Research, Development and Innovation Agency is supporting the implementation of the element that has the task of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry to carry out research and development in the field of environment and forestry, including the dissemination of the results of research and development for both internal and external users the Ministry of Environmrnt and Forestry. At the strategic level, the element is interpreted as a tour supporting the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, information providers and science and technology as the basis forestry actual solutions to problems, and producing technological innovation to encourage accelerated achievement of environment and forest development.

In the conduct of duties and functions, the Agency for Research, Development and Innovation supported by the secretariat of the body, 4 (four) center for research and development, 2 (two) major research centers and 13 (thirteen) research centers.
