With Accreditation, R&D Results are Expected as Solutions to National Problems
Balitek DAS (Solo, 14/03/2018). The R&D Institution nationally need to be accredited so that they can cohesively interact with each other and eventually produced R&D as solutions to the national problems. This was stated by OK Sofyan from the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (MORTHE), during a technical assistance (Bimtek) on Accreditation Event for R&D Institution (KNAPPP) at the R&D and Management Technology Body Office (Balitek) DAS, on Monday (12/03/2018).

Minister Siti Named The Timor Deer Newborns: Yusti and Yanti
BLI (Bogor, 14 Maret 2018). After the Forester Holy Recollection event on Wednesday (14/3/2018), Minister of Environment and Forestry (LHK), Dr. Siti Nurbaya visited and named two of the Timor Deer (Rusa timorensis Blainville) newborns, borned at the Deer Breeding, R&D and Innovation Body (BLI) Campus on end of February. The minister named the female babies: Yusti and Yanti.

Improving Human Resources Capacity, KLHK Trained Forest Rangers on ScienTech
P3HH (Bogor, 13 Maret 2018). To improve the knowledge and skills of the forest rangers as the tip of spear to secure forest resources, Center of Education and Training of Human Resources for Environmental and Forestry (Pusdiklat SDM LHK) held an upgrading training from skillful to expert level. As a research institution in KLHK, R&D and Innovation Body (BLI) is supporting the event through provision of scientech packages and practice facilities.

Excursion Study, SMP IT Ad Durrah Medan Harvesting Honey at BP2LHK Aek Nauli
BP2LHK Aek Nauli (Aek Nauli, 12 Maret 2018). Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMP Islam Terpadu) Ad Durrah Medan have an out of class learning curriculum called excursion study. The goal of this activity is for their students to learn directly the daily living condition. On this semester, the excursion study is held at BP2LHK Aek Nauli, where students harvested honey.

Vet Students of Nusa Cendana University is Co-assistance at BP2LHK Kupang Research Station
BP2LHK Kupang (Kupang, 12 Maret 2018). For the next two weeks (March 12-23, 2018), 15 veterenarian students from Nusa Cendana University (Undana) will be having a profession field work (co-assistance) at Oilsonbai Research Station, BP2LHK Kupang. Accompanied by their lecturer, drh. Cynthia D. Gaina, M.Trop.V.Sc, these students will learn about health management and maintenance of Timor Deer (Cervus timorenses), as well as cage management and nutrition.
