Socializations on National Innovation System Research Incentive and Technology Development Program

Altogether with the socialization of automatic timber identification tool and plan of development for xylarium Indonesia by the R&D and Innovation Body (BLI), Minister of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) at the Biodiversity Laboratory Building, Mulawarman University (Unmul), last Tuesday (4/9/2018), socializations on National Innovation System Research Incentive (Insinas) and Technology Development Program (PPTI).

R&D and Innovation Body of KLHK Launches 2 Apps and Book During Rakoren 2018
BLI (Cisarua - Bogor, 12 September 2018). During the 2018 Planning Coordination Meeting (Rakoren) of R&D and Innovation Body (BLI) in Cisarua, Bogor, last Wednesday (12/9/2018), two apps to support research and a book were launched. The two apps are; Online Proposal Appraisal System (Siproline), and Functional Role Information System (Sijainal) and the book is “Wehea-Kelay Natural Heritage”.

Picking Light in a Palm Sugar Producing Village in Gorontalo
BP2LHK Makassar (Makassar, September 2018). Suka Makmur Village is one of the Small-Medium Industrial Village that produce palm sugar in Gorontalo Province. Suka Makmur Village is located in Bolango Ulu Sub-district, Bone Bolango District, directly bordered with TNBNW Conservation Area. Due to its remote location, Suka Makmur is not electrified by the State-owned Electric Company (PLN).

Getting to Know the Forest, Plantations, and Animals Since Early Age with R&D Center LHK Banjarbaru
BP2LHK_Banjarbaru (Banjarbaru, September 2018). 151 students from the 6th grade of Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin visited R&D Center for Environment and Forestry (BP2LHK) Banjarbaru, last Wednesday (29/8/2018). Themed “We Can Because We See and Feel”, the visit is aim for the students to get to know plantations, nursery, and animals of the forest.

BP2LHK Banjarbaru (Banjarbaru, September 2018). R&D Center for Environment and Forestry (BP2LHK) Banjarbaru participated in the 6th National Silviculture Seminar and 5th Indonesian Silviculture Community Congress (MASSI V) held by the Forestry Faculty, Halu Oleo University in Kendari, August 8-9, 2018.

Assisting Community, B2P2EHD and Partner Handed Over Herbal Tea Bag
B2P2EHD (Samarinda, September 2018). Located at Merabu Village, Kelay Sub-district, Berau District, last Wednesday (29/8/2018), R&D Center for Dipterocarp Forest Ecosystem (B2P2EHD), PT. Utama Damai Indah Timber (UDIT) and Merbau Village Head held a meeting to follow-up non-wood forest products (HHBK) training last July 2018. Herbal Tea Bag Press Machine was also handed over to Merabu Village Head.

Thanks to Arcamanik Research Forest, Mekarmanik Village, Bandung District, Experience no Water Crisis
P3H (Bogor, September 2018). Long draught that occurs in Bandung District in the past for months don’t bring too many impacts to the residents of Mekarmanik Village. They can still water their farm land amidst the ongoing water crisis, thanks to the water source from the Arcamanik Research Forest. “Residents of Mekarmanik Village is very grateful with the existence of Arcamanik Research Forest or Bosbow Forest in the area.
