BP2TPTH Internal Seminar, Researchers Discussed Development on Seed Research
BP2TPTH (Bogor, Agustus 2018). To discuss the current R&D development on forest seed, R&D Center for Forest Plants Seedling Technology (BP2TPTH) held an internal seminar or better known as research forum last Thursday (26/7/2018). This event was conducted to improve the qualities of R&D on seed technologies both existing or those still need further development in the future.

Demplot Agroforestri BP2TA’s Agroforestry Demo Plot in West Kalimantan is Appreciated as a Location for Peat Restoration’s Transfer of Technology
BP2TA Ciamis (Ciamis, Agustus 2018). Since mid-2017, BP2TA Ciamis has been trusted by the Peat Restoration Agency (BRG) to carry out research activities on peat restoration in West Kalimantan Province. The 4 hectares agroforestry demo plot consisted of 2 hectares on 0-2meter peat depth and 2 hectares on 3-4meter peat depth is developed to support the research.

Angkasa Pura I, the R&D Center for Natural Resources Conservation Technology (Balitek KSDA) publication is displayed at Gate 3 of the Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman (SAMS) International Airport, Balikpapan since Tuesday (31/7/2018). This is done to disseminate data and information related to R&D results on natural resources conservation technologies to the general public.

Lokasi yang dipilih adalah plot penanaman akasia milik PT. Arara Abadi di Distrik Rasau Kuning, Kabupaten Siak, Provinsi Riau.

UAV Workshop for Disease Control on the Forest
B2P2BPTH (Pekanbaru, Agustus 2018). As its dissemination forum, R&D and Innovation Body (BLI) partner, Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) held a workshop on the utilization of a low-cost, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to collect forest inventory data or to monitor trees’ health, last July 30-31, 2018.

Balitbangda East Kalimantan Province Disseminates Research Results, B2P2EHD

The Birth of Anoa at ABC BP2LHK Manado Prior to the 2018 National Conservation Day is Expected to be a Milestone of Anoa Conservation
BP2LHK Manado (Manado, Agustus 2018). A lot of parties appreciates the third birth of Anoa at the Anoa Breeding Centre (ABC) R&D Center for the Environment and Forestry (BP2LHK) Manado recently, including the head of North Sulawesi’s BKSDA, Ir. Agustinus Rante Lembang, M.Si. During a press conference, Agustinus said that this moment is a milestone of Anoa conservation as the North Sulawesi Province will host a National Conservation Day (HKAN) on August 2018.
