MORTHE: KNAPPP Certified, BP2LHK Manado Has A Strong Chance to Pass PUI
BP2LHK Manado (Manado, 29/4/2018). Yudho Baskoro, Head of Sub-Directorate of National Government R&D Institutions, MORTHE while conducting a socialization of Science-Tech Center of Excellence at BP2LHK Manado, (27/4) said that BP2LHK has a great chance to pass PUI as they have certification from National Accreditation Committee for Research and Development.

SP Oilsonbai Has A Potential to Be a Scientific Tourist Destination in Kupang
BP2LHK Kupang (Kupang, 27/04/2018). According to R&D Center and Innovation (BLI) Secretary, Dr. Sylvana Ratina, Research Station (SP) Oilsonbai has a potential tobe a scientific tourism destination in Kupang. Several potentials that can be developed includes; timor deer (cervus timorensis) cultivation and Rote-snake head turtle that is successfully breed.

Bioetanol Aren from Forest Products’ R&D: Perfect Solution for LPG Scarcity at Boalemo
P3HH (Boalemo, 27/4/2018). As a breakthrough of R&D activities, R&D Center for Forest Product (P3HH), one of the working unit at R&D and Innovation Center of KLHK has been producing bioethanol from aren (sugar palm) at Botumoito Village, Boalemo. In relation with LPG scarcity on the area, this could be a perfect solution as bioethanol can be used an alternative fuel.

BP2LHK Makassar (Makassar, 26/4/2018). If one day one of us is asked to do layout to be published on a scientific journal, some might get confused. How to start? What Apps to use? How to keep the look neat while keeping the format to maintain the true magazine style. Experience shows that article layout can easily be done by suing Microsoft Word (MS Word).

Sub-Watershed Degradation Rapid Exam, A Method to Map Flood Area with Minimum Data
Balitek DAS (Solo, 26/4/2018). Minimizing the loss from flood can be done through early detection by mapping out the flood area. Yet, this process is often hampered by the lack or minimum data on site level. Good news is, with the Sub-Watershed (DAS) Degradation Rapid Exam from researcher of R&D Center for Management Technology (Balitek) DAS Solo, this is no longer an issue.

BLI Head Asked Multi-parties to Make REDD+ Implementation a Success in Indonesia
B2P2BPTH (Yogyakarta, 25/04/2018). Opening a Pre-Event on the 3rd Asia Pacific Rainforest Summit 2018 at Alana Hotel, Yogyakarta (22/04), R&D and Innovation Center (BLI) Head, Dr. Agus Justianto asked the parties to make the REDD+ implementation a success in Indonesia. “We are hoping to see a successful implementation of REDD+ across all province in Indonesia and for the lessons learned in Indonesia to be adopted in other countries.
