Grey Water for Urban Areas
[FORDA] _According to some research, grey water or recycled water with water treatment technology has the potential to support a sustainable water supply system in urban areas. In Pamulang, South Tangerang, a dynamics system model was applied to test it. The scenario of using grey water in the model predicts that Pamulang will be able to have a clean water surplus until 2023.

Mahogany Tannins, Potential to Replace Synthetic Adhesives
[FORDA] _The tannin content of extracted mahogany bark (Swietenia macrophylla) has the potential to be developed to replace synthetic adhesives. Efficiency becomes its advantage. This is revealed in the research carried out by Adi Santoso, et al, which has been published in the Journal of Forest Products Research Volume 38 Number 3 of 2020.

[FORDA] _Long Term Management Plan (RPJP) for the next 20 years- 2020-2039- of Forest Areas with Specific Purposes (KHDTK) managed by the Research, Development and Innovation Agency (FORDA) of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) is directed to become a Center of Excellence in Science and Technology as well as becoming a source of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP).

FORDA’s Participation in the Fifth Session of UNEA
[FORDA] _As stipulated by the United Nation for Environment Program (UNEP), the first phase of the United Nation Environment Assembly (UNEA) was held on February 22-23, 2021 virtually. Leading the Indonesian delegation in this global event, the Vice Minister of Environment and Forestry, Dr. Alue Dohong was accompanied by high officials from FORDA including the DG of FORDA and researcher.

The Potential of Collaboration on Environment and Forestry Research, Development, and Innovations between Indonesia – Singapore
