Mitigating the Risk of Vertical Cliff Sections, Here Are the Recommendations from Balitek DAS
[FORDA] _Landslides occurred over again in early 2021. One of them was on the Wonosobo-Dieng route, on Dieng Street km 23, Dieng Village, Kejajar, Wonosobo Wednesday (10/02/21). The existence of vertical cliff sections (PTT), coupled with moderate-intensity rainfall for several days become the main cause of the disasters, according to Ir. Beny Harjadi, M.Sc, a researcher in the Research and Development Center for Watershed Management Technology (Balitek DAS) Solo.

FORDA Ensures PKTBT Readiness for 35 CPNS under FORDA Work Units
[FORDA] _FORDA ensures the readiness of Basic Training for Strengthening of Technical Competency in the Field of Duty (PKTBT) which will be carried out simultaneously for 35 Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) within FORDA work units for the next following month. PKTBT aims to strengthen technical and administrative aspects through apprenticeship at the Government Institution in the participants’ hometown.

The application of this technology is a solution to overcome the constraints of conventional propagation from seeds.
