PLTMH Team Continues to Assist and Facilitate PLTMH Construction in East Sumba
BP2LHK Makassar (Makassar, November 2018)_The expedition to bring light to Sumba continues. On November 14 – 27, 2018, the Micro-Hydro Electric Generating Team (PLTMH) from R&D Center for Environment and Forestry (BP2LHK) Makassar conduct assistance and facilitation of PLTMH construction there.

BLI and UGM Hosted International Conference on Hydrometeorology Disaster Mitigation
BLI (Yogyakarta, November 2018). R &D and Innovation Body (BLI) KLHK and Environment, Forestry, and Disaster Mitigation Clinic (KLMB) Gadjah Mada University (UGM) hosted a Joint International Conference (JIC) Hydro-Meteorological Disaster Mitigation under Global Change, Yogyakarta (29/11). This conference is expected to collect lessons learned on hydrometeorology disaster mitigation under global change, to create more resilient communities.

Clean Jumat Bersih, Manifestation of Environmental Love from BP2LHK Banjarbaru
BP2LHK Banjarbaru (Banjarbaru, November 2018). Started on November 2018, on every Fridays of the month, the R&D Center for Environment and Forestry (BP2LHK) Banjarbaru conducted Clean Friday activity, of which all employees should be involved in cleaning the office, arboretum, and other office facilities. Started out on 08.00 – 10.30 WITA, the activity aims to maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the office environment.

In commemorating the 47th Korpri Birthday, the R&D Center for Environment and Forestry Makassar and Task Forces under the Minister of Environment and Forestry of South Sulawesi held a ceremony at Office of Watershed and Protected Forest (BPDASHL) Jeneberang Saddang.

Participants of 2018 National Essential Oil Conference Field Trip to BP2LHK Aek Nauli
BP2LHK Aek Nauli (Aek Nauli, November 2018). After previously held in Malang, East Java, in 2018 the National Essential Oil Conference (KNMA) is held in Medan, North Sumatera, where the R&D Center of Environment and Forestry (BP2LHK) Aek Nauli was one of the locations for the field trip of 150 conference participants on Tuesday (27/11/2018). The 2018 KNMA themed “Developing High Added Value Indonesian Essential Oil Commodity”, was held on November 26-28, 2018.

Presenting Their Study Results, Two BP2LHK Manado Staffs Appreciated by Stakeholders
BP2LHK Manado (Manado, November 2018). Two staffs of R&D Center for Environment and Forestry (BP2LHK) Manado who have completed their Master study, last Monday (26/11/2018) had their scientific presentations on the Hall of North Sulawesi Natural Resources Conservation (BKSDA) Office, as the are coordinator of technical implementing unit under the Minister of Environment and Forestry in North Sulawesi province.

BP2LHK Aek Nauli Trains Honeybees Farmers at Gunung Leuser National Park’s Buffer Zone
BP2LHK Aek Nauli (Aek Nauli, November 2018). In order to develop productive economy business on conservation model villages at Gunung Leuser National Park’s buffer zone, last November 21-22, 2018 the Office of Gunung Leuser National Park (BBTNGL) hosted the group formation and training for honeybee farmers at Namo Sialang (Tangkahan) Village, Batang Serangan Sub-district, Langkat District, North Sumatera.

UMPAR Biology Students Visited BP2LHK Makassar
BP2LHK Makassar (Makassar, November 2018). Biology students from Parepare Muhammadiyah University (UMPAR) visited the R&D Center for Environment and Forestry (BP2LHK) Makassar, on Wednesday (21/11/2018). The visit was to improve the quality of education through cooperation and teaching-learning activities with the researchers.
