BP2LHK Palembang (Palembang, 31/01/2018). Environment and Forestry Research Center (BP2LHK) Palembang has innovate on agrosilvofishery (Wana-Mitra-Tani) – based integrated peat restoration. This achievement has been documented in a book titled “Agrosilvofishery (Wana-Mitra-Tani) Based Integrated Peat Restoration Pilot Project”, that describes the implementation of scientific research and development/ innovation done by BP2LHK Palembang.

SMP IT Al Ihya Tanjung Gading is Having Outing Class to BP2LHK Aek Nauli
BP2LHK Aek Nauli (27/01/2018). Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMP IT) is having an outing class by visiting Environmental and Forestry Research Center (BP2LHK) Aek Nauli, on January 26 – 27, 2018. This is an annual event for the school and they select BP2LHK Aek Nauli by considering the educational content that they can get. During the two days visit, the students received enrichment on several subjects, including the historical and functional introduction of BP2LHK Aek Nauli.

Balitek DAS Participates in Initiating Sakura Garden in Tawangmangu
Balitek DAS (Solo, 30/01/2018). Dream comes true. Tawangmangu Protected Forest Area in Karanganyar, Central Java will soon be transformed into Lawu Sakura Garden (Sakral). This process involves cooperation from multi parties; PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN), Balitek DAS Solo, Forestry Agency of KPH Surakarta, Cibodas Botanical Garden-LIPI and Faculty of Science, Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Solo. BP2LHK Aek Nauli Conducts Planting of Dates from Tissue Culture
BP2LHK Aek Nauli (Aek Nauli, 29/01/2018). BP2LHK Aek Nauli conducts a trial of planting dates on KHDTK Aek Nauli on Friday, January 26, 2018. BP2LHK Aek Nauli Head, Pratiara, S.Hut, M.Si said that the trial aims to find out the land suitability on Lake Toba’s Water Catchment Area (DTA). “We are hoping that dates can be a solution in rehabilitating and food security in Indonesia. Hopefully within 6-7 years, this dates can provide positive solution to those national issues.” Pratiara explained.
