Erosion Hazard – Sedimentation on Watershed with Teakwood Forest
Balitek DAS (Solo, 30/5/2018). The high percentage of teakwood forest coverage in a watershed (DAS) or sub-watershed (sub-DAS) does not guarantee that the river flows through the DAS is free from the issue of diluted sediment. “Therefore, the erosion – sedimentation hazards on DAS with teakwood forest should be monitored,” said Tyas Mutiara Basuki, a researcher at R&D Center for Watersehed Management Technology (Balitek DAS) Solo in her office recently.

Developing A Clone Seeds Garden, BPTH Area I Sumatra Will Utilizes B2P2EHD Samarinda Research Results
B2P2EHD (Samarinda, 30/5/2018). A team from the Office of Forest Plantation Seedling (BPTH) Area I Palembang visited the Center for Dipterocarps Ecosystem R&D (B2P2EHD), last Wednesday (23/5/2018). The visit was related to the utilization of B2P2EHD research results for the Clone Seeds Garden that will be developed in Kemampo Research Forest (HP) Palembang.

Developing Agroforestry, BPHP Banjarbaru Held a Study Visit to BP2TA Ciamis
BP2TA (Ciamis, 28/5/2018). In a comparison study on agroforestry, a team from the Production Forest Management Office (BPHP) Area IX Banjarbaru visited the R&D Center for Agroforestry Technology (BP2TA) Ciamis, last May 23-24, 2018. A team from the National Accreditation Team for Research and Development Institution (KNAPPP) of the Minister of Research and Technology and Higher Education (MORTHE) conducted an external assessment (surveillance) at Center for Environment and Forestry (BP2LHK) Manado, on May 14-15, 2018 to guarantee the implementation of quality assurance of KNAPPP 02-2007 on research and development institution that had been accreditated.
