P3KLL (Balikpapan, 06/04/18). On the 3rd day, Thursday (05/04/2018), the R&D Center for Laboratory Quality and Environment (P3KLL) of Minister of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) managed to took sample of sea water from 11 out of 15 locations planned, surrounding the Pertamina Port, Balikpapan Bay. Jauhari, P3KLL Team Coordinator said “We determined the sampling locations based on verification results with the KLHK joint team.”
BP2LHK Aek Nauli (Aek Nauli, 03/04/2018). Another local TV station from North Sumatera conducted a coverage at R&D Center for Environment and Forestry (BP2LHK) Aek Nauli. Efarina TV Medan covered the featured edutaintment program, the Cultivation and Honey Harvesting that later will be broadcasted on their new program “Kabar dari Kampung”. The shooting on action was conducted last Thursday (29/03/2018).
B2P2BPTH (Yogyakarta, 03/04/2018). Ethical clearance in research and publications meant to assist the researchers to avoid making any mistakes both during the planning, implementation, and reporting or dissemination of research results (scientific publication) by conducting self-assessment. Therefore, neglecting ethical clearance means violating the researcher’s ethical code.
P3KLL (04/04/2018). Following the oil spills at the Balikpapan Bay, the R&D Center for Quality and Environment Laboratory (P3KLL) team took sample from 15 location points last Tuesday (03/04). The team brought several sampling equipment such as Van Dorn Water Sampler. Water sample taken with parameters as follow; TSS, fat oil, cyanide, H2S, Hg, As, Cd, DO (dissolved oxygen). Team will also take samples of sediment and fish whenever possible.
BP2TSTH (Kuok, 03/04/2018). A team from the R&D Center of Forest Plant Fiber Technology (BP2TSTH) Kuok visited SD Muhammadiyah 019 Bangkinang, Kampar District, Riau, last Tuesday (03/04/2018). This was a follow-up visit from the care for the forest and environment statement from SD Muhammadiyah 019 during their scientific visit a while ago at BP2TSTH Kuok office.
BP2LHK Palembang (Palembang, 23/03/2018). The needs of an assistance in restoring the degraded ecosystem at their work area, was the reason behind PT KEN visit to Balitbang LHK Palembang. “With their experience in peat restoration, we are optimistic that they can help us in restoring the degraded ecosystem functions at our work area maximally,” said Asep Taufik Hidayat, Head of Planning Division of PT. KEN during the initiation meeting at BP2LHK Palembang office last Friday (Jumat, 23/03/2018).
BLI (Jakarta, 03/04/2018). Led directly by Head of R&D and Innovation Center (BLI), Dr. Ir. Agus Justianto, MSc, BLI held a handing over of Administrator and Supervisor post last Tuesday (03/04/2018). In his speech, Agus said that mutation for Civil Servant (PNS) in their capacity as public officials is ordinary for an organization. Mutation is required as every official requires refreshment to improve the quality of work.
BP2LHK Makassar (Makassar, 03/04/2018). Several Members of the Regional House of Representatives_ (DPRD) from Central Buton District, Southeast Sulawesi Province, visited the R&D Center for Environment and Forestry (BP2LHK) Makassar, last Wednesday (28/03/2018). This visit was to consult on environment and forestry issues in their area, including the Analysis on Environmental Impact (AMDAL).
P3H (Bogor, 02/04/2018). The collection stands on several research forests managed by the Forest R&D center currently has reached the seed production cycle. In order to manage the seeds to reach the set standards, the Center has proposed seed certification for 8 locations; Forest Area with Special Purpose (KHDTK) Cikampek, KHDTK Haurbentes, KHDTK Yanlappa, KHDTK Carita and Dramaga Research Forest, Pasirhantap Research Forest, Cikole Research Forest, and Pasir Awi Research Forest.
BP2LHK Aek Nauli (Aek Nauli, 02/04/2018). Center for Environment and Forestry R&D (BP2LHK) Aek Nauli welcomed a visit from Secretariat Team of R&D and Innovation Center (BLI) of Minister of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), last Tuesday (27/03/2018). The team consisted of Head of Evaluation, Dissemination, and Library (EDP) Division, Dr. Kristina Tri Wahyudiyati, and three of her sub-section heads.
